Scope:
The scope of the service span through the many aspects of PBF-LB/M optimization, including the research related to materials (alloy selection or alloy development), design for AM, hybrid printing, postprocessing (heat treatment, hipping, etc...), quality assesment, quality assurance, qualification, and overall printing parameter optimization.
The selected component will be manufactured and validated according to the specifications and requirements indicated by the customer, and it may be either printed in the premises of the service provider, or in the customer’s equipment under the advise and guidance of the PULSATE experts. The stages of this work may include:

The extent of the work is expected to span for 2-4 weeks of engineering and experimental work, plus the additional work for briefing and reporting. The component will be delivered with the laser manufacturing finish, the scope does not include subsequent machining to final shape unless explicitly agreed with the customer company.
