1st Technology Transfer Experiments open call results

30 August 2021

On the 29th of April 2021, the first Technology Transfer Experiments (TTE) Open Call of PULSATE was closed, with 35 proposals submitted from 16 different European countries. Since then, the proposals went through a rigorous, multi-step selection process, to identify the best teams and experiments, which will demonstrate an effective adoption of laser solutions by end-users.

Open Call Results

The selection process journey included several steps:

  • 35 proposals were submitted by the 22nd of April.
  • 33 proposals were eligible and evaluated by external experts from the Laser industry.
  • 25 of them passed the required threshold and were discussed by the PULSATE Selection Committee during the Consensus Meeting.
  • The best 18 candidates were invited to the Jury Day, where they presented their proposal and answered the questions from the jury.
  • Finally, 10 experiments, that also passed a formal review, were selected to receive up to EUR 150,000 in funds and join a support programme that includes technical support from the PULSATE technical partners and business mentoring from FundingBox.

Congratulations to all the winners, who are all invited to the welcome meeting that takes place on Thursday 2 September 2021. The goal of the event is to introduce to selected Experiments the full programme, the Mentors, the resources available to support them, and the procedures for internal organisation.
