THE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY CENTRE LIMITED is located in Coventry (United Kingdom) and works on solutions related to Cloud-based Platform, Data analytics, Equipment design and selection, Model-based product & process optimisation, Process development and optimization, Process qualification, Product design, Prototyping, Visualization in the context of Aerospace (Aeronautics), Customised Electronics, Industrial Machinery, Manufacturing, Medical Devices
The MTC (Manufacturing Technology Centre) is established to prove innovative manufacturing processes and technologies in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. The MTC houses some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the world, creating a high-quality environment for the development and demonstration of new technologies on an industrial scale. This provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers to develop new and innovative processes and technologies.
The laser processing group at the MTC is here to accelerate the uptake of laser based manufacturing by developing the technology and systems required to address the key challenges of the technology. We have a team of engineers and technical specialists who are available to answer your questions on all aspects of laser based manufacturing. Our facilities and technology offering can be summarised into three key areas: surface engineering, advanced machining and material joining. We will enhance your laser based process development through support from other technical group within the MTC such as design, tooling, digital engineering, metrology, materials engineering and physics modelling by offering a holistic end-to-end process development that will maximises output and de-risk your adoption for laser based manufacturing.
The UK National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM) is here to accelerate the uptake of Additive Manufacturing (AM) by developing the technology and systems required to address the key challenges within the AM value chain. We have a team of engineers and technical specialists who are available to answer your questions on all aspects of Additive Manufacturing. Our facilities comprise metal, ceramic and polymer printers, plus a wide range of equipment for postprocessing, and our digital factory environment has the latest software available to help you de-risk your adoption of Additive Manufacturing.
